庞安常针

原文：朱新仲.祖居桐城.时亲识间一妇人妊娠将产.七日而子不下.药饵符水.无所不用.待死而已.名医李几道.偶在朱公舍.朱邀视之.李曰、此百药无可施.惟有针法.然吾艺未至此.不敢措手也.遂还.而几道之师庞安常.适过门.遂同谒朱.朱告之故.曰、其家不敢屈先生.然人命至重.能不惜一行救之否.安常许诺.相与同往.才见孕者.即连呼曰.不死.令家人以汤温其腰腹间.安常以手上下拊摩之.孕者觉肠胃微痛.呻吟间生一男子.母子皆无恙.其家惊喜拜谢.敬之如神.而不知其所以然.安常曰.儿已出胞.而一手误执母肠胃.不复能脱.故虽投药而无益.适吾隔腹扪儿手所在.针其虎口.儿既痛即缩手.所以遽生.无他术也.令取儿视之.右手虎口针痕存焉.其妙至此。

译文：朱新仲，祖居桐城，当时他的亲戚或者是朋友中有一家的女人怀孕了要生小孩，七天了都没生下来，医生开的汤药、巫师给的符水，什么都用过了，都不管用，也就在家等死了。名医李几道，正好在朱新仲家，朱新仲便邀他去看看。李几道看了说：“这种情况什么药都不管用，只有针法能治，可是我的技艺还没达到那种程度，不敢下手。”就回去了。这时李几道的老师庞安常正好到他家，于是师徒二人一同来到朱家。朱新仲把事情的原委说了一遍，说：“他家不敢屈尊先生请您去，可是人命要紧啊，您能不能不惜一行去救救她吗？”庞安常答应了，他们就一同去了，刚见到孕妇，庞安常就连声说：“死不了。”他让家人用热水热敷孕妇的腰腹，庞安常用手上下按揉了一番，这里孕妇觉得肠胃微微作痛，呻吟之间生出了一个男孩，母子平安。那家人惊喜异常，连连拜谢，对庞安常敬之如神，却不知道为什么会这样。庞安常说：“胎儿已经娩出了胎胞，可一只手却误抓着了母亲的肠胃，再也放不开，所以吃药是没用的。刚才我隔着肚子按揉胎儿手的部位，又用针扎他的虎口，胎儿一痛就放手了，所以就生下来了，我也没什么特殊的技艺。”他让人把小孩抱来看，果然虎口部位针扎的痕迹还在呢。他的医术居然精妙到这种程度。
